Whey Protein Side Effects

Is there scientific evidence of whey protein side effects?

Whey protein is in simple terms liquid globular part of milk. It is obtained when cheese is separated from milk. It is commercially used as food supplement especially among body builders. The protein can also be used to manage protein malnutrition condition and other immune deficiencies. This is because this supplement is rich in proteins, mineral salts and residual lactose. Proteins are the component of food that is used to build or repair body cells. It is the primary input in growth and development.

They are large molecules which can be broken down to peptides, and further into amino acids. There are twenty amino acids that are used in formation of body parts. There are however only a few of them that is essential. These are the ones that cannot be manufactured by the body from other acids. Their metabolism results in production of a number of metabolites that may also have side effects.

Whey proteins side effects have been investigated by several nutritional and biochemical experts. The most comprehensive pre-clinical studies have been conducted on rodents serving as guinea pigs. These studies focused on identifying the side effects arising from the byproducts of its metabolism. Naturally, any protein molecule ingested is taken through the protein metabolism cycle that begins at the mouth with release of proteases. The byproducts include the carbohydrate skeletal structure, some fatty acids and peptides. The peptides are further broken down into amino acids. Some of the amino acids may form compounds with other amino acids, carbon structures and fatty acids to generate free radicals that produce negative side effects. However, every metabolism process that is aimed at releasing energy through the ATP pump, will inevitably release free radicals. The formation of undesired compounds and release of free radicals is what may be considered whey protein side effect.

Whey protein has been thought to inhibit the functions of glutathione peptide. It causes whey protein side effect by inhibiting the functions of glutathione as an anti-oxidant. The absorption of free radicals in the cell environment is therefore inhibited. Free radicals may cause side effects by 'punching holes' on other cell membranes. The result of pre-clinical studies on rodents did not reveal adequate evidence to substantiate the claim that whey protein may cause side effects of the same magnitude in humans.

In conclusion, there is no substantive evidence to link whey protein supplement to side effects. It is a safe product for body builders and patients of malnutrition.

Creatine Products Like Anadraulic State GT For Anti-Aging - The Benefits Are Endless!

Creatine monohydrate is a sports supplement that can be used for a variety of purposes, including anti-aging and cognitive nutritional support. It is very inexpensive and the best form, creatine monohydrate is well studies and extremely safe when used as directed. In fact, I've only run across one major issue with creatine, which was a bodybuilder using 4 times the maximum dose of 20g per day, had severe cramping and muscle wasting. If used responsibly however, it should be very safe and good for people young and old!

The most important trait found in Creatine is its ability to help in producing more energy in the body by recharging ATP. Another trait is that it helps to stimulate growth of muscles and both these traits involve different biological actions. There is also reason to believe that creatine also helps in enriching the physical well being of a person, especially athletes and also the elderly since numerous studies show benefits other than muscle growth. In addition, it also helps to boost female athletes energy levels and the same occurs in the case of male athletes, especially those that are vegan or vegetarian.

Creatine monohydrate also known as methyl guanidine acetic acid, does many more things than simply providing cells with its required amount of creatine phosphate. It can also help to increase hormone levels in the body and change the balance of those hormones. Creatine, is not a vitamin or mineral and nor is it a hormone or herb.

Having found out what methyl guanidine acetic acid is, it is then a good idea to also learn about what purpose it serves. It recharges ATP by providing the body with phosphate for the conversion of ADP to ATP. This in turn will then translate into higher amounts of work from the muscles. In addition, when your body contains plenty of creatine phosphate it means that the muscles will be able to hold higher amounts of water. This leads to super hydration as well as volumization of the muscles which will enable the muscles to perform better protein synthesis and give the bodybuilder that "full" feeling which they crave.

Not just for men, women will also benefit when their bodies contain optimal levels of creatine. First of all, it enables them to feel more energetic and it also helps them to build more muscle mass which in the case of a female athlete will mean better performance. Women generally do find it harder to build up muscle mass as compared to men, but with creatine in their bodies, female athletes will also become stronger in a shorter period of time and build muscle like their male counterparts. Unfortunately, creatine does have a tendency to bloat you while taking it, so women usually avoid it as a supplement.

The human body will benefit if it is fed with up to twenty grams of creatine in a day. One positive benefit is that the body's blood GH levels will increase significantly within just 2 to 6 hours of having consumed the methyl guanidine acetic acid better known as creatine. GH is a hormone that helps to regulate body fat and it also aids in maintaining the immune system and it is important for building muscle mass as well. GH is also useful for its healing properties and it promotes better bone mass and does hundreds of different functions as well.

When a person ages, their GH levels start to go down because the body is not able to produce enough of it. This in turn leads to experiencing physical problems that are closely associated with the aging process. Low GH levels result in losing muscle mass and the bones will become weak and frail while the skin will also start to lose its elasticity and people tend to also become sick more frequently. Lastly, low GH levels also lead to feeling less energetic.

This is why it pays to consume creatine which will help in enhancing GH levels which is especially beneficial for those who are aging and who are also health enthusiasts. This is because when GH levels rise, it helps in remaining healthy and people will feel more youthful as well as vital and their overall well being improves as well. If you are aging and are experiencing the effects of loss of muscle because of the aging process, then you need to consume creatine as a supplement since it provides two major benefits for the elderly. These are volumizing your muscle cells and also, increasing brain function and activity.

Amino acids are essential building blocks of proteins. Mostly, creatine (about ninety percent of it) is located in a persons skeletal muscular system while the other five percent is found in the heart, brain and testes. The more meats as well as fish that we consume, the higher is the amount of creatine entering our bodies. Similarly, eating dairy products and egg whites as well as seeds and nuts will also help to increase its levels in the body. Still, creatine from food doesn't seem to have the same effect that creatine monohydrate does in supplement form.

The human body can store high amounts of creatine because it is so important as a biological agent for energy production. In addition, adequate amounts of creatine will also help to produce more energy for all bodily processes, giving you an over all body effect, that will be most noticed by the elderly. Most of the creatine in the body is stored as creatine phosphate, however that form seemed to be less effective than creatine monohydrate as a supplement. The phosphate is then donated to what is called ATP or adenosine diphosphate which in turn helps to renew the adenosine triphosphate molecule and in this way produces higher energy in the body. There are many forms of creatine on the market, but currently the most well studied form is creatine monohydrate. Fad forms of creatine do come and go, like creatine ethyl ester, but it is best to stick with at least some creatine monohydrate in your supplement.

For anti-aging purposes and for men looking to optimize creatine levels, it is probably best to use creatine in cycles of 4-8 weeks and then 1-2 weeks off of the supplements. Additionally, it's best to use creatine with some sort of insulin sensitizing agent like dextrose, cinnamon extract or bitter melon extract. This will help push the creatine into the muscle and keep the bloating down.

Anadraulic State GT, by LG Sciences is a very interesting creatine product that would work very well at optimizing hormone levels in older men and women. It contains about the same amount of caffeine as a strong cup of coffee, and can be consumed in place of coffee every morning and used as a natural pick me up. It also contains a healthy dose of hydrolyzed amino acids, protein and dextrose, which should be good for a complete anti-aging formula to help balance key hormones like cortisol, testosterone and estrogen. Still, Anadraulic State GT is probably most optimal for aging men who want to fully optimize their hormone levels in addition to the benefits of creatine. If you are caffeine sensitive or a female, then straight creatine monohydrate is for you! Enjoy the benefits of creatine today.

Natural Anxiety Cure - Magnesium

There are many natural anxiety cures available for anxiety attacks. However, according to research, magnesium can be considered the most deficient nutrient in the United States due to a poor diet which consists mainly of processed foods, and a stressful and hectic lifestyle. Stress further depletes the body and causes an imbalance in the body's biochemistry.

Magnesium is used in therapy as a natural anxiety treatment because of its relaxing effect and is essential for over 300 chemical reactions in the body.

The body needs this particular mineral to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which powers all your bodily functions and reactions. A deficiency causes ATP production to fall, and the body forms lactic acid instead. Excessive levels of lactic acid causes anxiety and irritability symptoms. The deficiency also causes signs of stress in the adrenal gland which results in physiological tension in the body. In severe cases, it may cause hyperventilation, seizures, nervous tension and panic attacks.

Magnesium is also required in the production of prostaglandin hormones which helps reduce anxiety and agoraphobia. It aids in stabilising mood swings and when taken before bedtime, it relaxes muscles, relieves tension and induces restful sleep. It is particularly beneficial for women as it helps alleviate emotionally triggered PMS symptoms, crankiness and abdominal cramps.

For oral supplements it is best absorbed when taken in conjunction with calcium.

Other than taking supplements, good natural food sources include green leafy vegetables, legumes, avocados, raisins and dried figs, raw nuts and seeds, tofu, meat, poultry, seafood, millet and other grains. Studies have shown that even the trace amounts in bottled mineral water may help offset a panic and anxiety attack.

Chocolate contains beneficial amounts of magnesium and it is a natural anxiety cure which triggers endorphin release and creates that immediate happy feeling.

So... when you're feeling really stressed out, just take a break and have a chocolate!

Aerobic and Anaerobic Exercises

Aerobic exercise does not necessarily mean all heavy exercises. In fact, some forms of strenuous exercise is anaerobic and affects the body in a different way. If you are starting out on a new exercise regimen, it would be a good idea to find out the difference between aerobic exercise and what is anaerobic. Such knowledge will help you with what exercises to do and how to do them properly. By aerobic exercise, it means "with oxygen", whereas anaerobic means otherwise-"without oxygen". With anaerobic exercise, cellular tissues generate energy without relying on oxygen availability. The distinction between aerobic exercise and anaerobic is that aerobic exercise needs significant production of oxygen supply while anaerobic does not.

Aerobic exercise is more prolonged that's why it requires considerable amounts of oxygen. Oxygen is utilized by the muscles to burn fat and glucose is necessary for the manufacturing of adenosine triphosphate or ATP. ATP is the fundamental transport of all body cells. Initially during aerobic exercise, glycogen is changed into glucose, and as glucose is diminished, fat is metabolized as fuel. Endorphins are released in the brain during the "runner's high" which happens when the muscles depend only on oxygen as the glycogen in the muscles have been used up. Anaerobic exercise doesn't have time to depend on oxygen, that's why it is brief and quick.

The muscles being used rely on energy- producing means that don't significantly need oxygen in anaerobic activities. To produce stamina, the body metabolizes glycogen in the muscles instead. Blood sugar in the body provides glycogen. Aerobic exercise tones body muscle and eliminates fat. Aerobic exercise doesn't merely make you look trim and toned, but would also give you several health benefits:

- strengthening of the heart, thereby increasing pumping efficiency and lowering heart rate resting

- improving circulation and decreasing blood pressure

- strengthening respiratory muscles thereby boosting lung capacity

- increasing red blood cell count making them deliver oxygen more effectively all throughout the body

- reducing the risk of heart diseases Anaerobic exercise, however, gives the body more power and stamina.

This may be helpful in sports like sprint, football or basketball. Anaerobically conditioned muscles develop in another way, boosting power in sudden, high-intensity moments. Other benefits are:

- strengthening of the the bones

- increasing muscle strength and mass

- reducing muscle atrophy that goes with age

- increasing speed and power

Exercises like cycling, swimming, running, walking, rowing and cross-country skiing are some forms of aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise requires a sustained heart rate and moderate effort.Other home exercises such as using the treadmill and exercise bike or going with a home video are also aerobic. For the outdoors, you may do snow-shoeing, hiking or kayaking.

Tennis, weight lifting, sprinting and jumping, on the other hand are anaerobic in nature. To achieve a total balanced fitness, it is best to combine doing both anaerobic and aerobic exercise. Anaerobic activities is a good complement to aerobic exercise as it will add definition and tone to the physical result of aerobic exercise. It is wise to check with your physician before starting an exercise program. Do your exercises gradually over time with increasing intensity. Don't overdo it as you might injure yourself. Most importantly, a daily exercise routine must be coupled with a balanced diet and sufficient amounts of sleep for optimum health.

The Art of Astro Travel - By the Source Channels

My name is Queen Tiye I inherited the ability to write in my sleep since the early part of 2006, this ability as slowly but surely become part of my routine life style which fits perfectly within my every day life.

As it happens, while I am in an unconscious sleep state I awake to News Views, Predictions foreign languages and pure information from the source communicated through my vessel, to this dimension the earth.

In this article I want to give you the purest information from the source on The Combine Art of Astro Travel. In the writings Astro Travel is known has Astro Transcending Proggestrotation. (ATP). ATP is the spirit within the physical body that separated the physical vessel, when separated it can travels outside the earth's dimension connected through the Koralatal, the Golden Cord.

This natural process began initially with the spec of consciousness separated from the source using the Koralatal to enter the womb which is the spec of consciousness that travels through dimensions to begin life on earth.

The writing says: Oh ye believers of faith and non believers of little. upon you I have bestowed the power to travel within all times within all dimensions. Enjoy the abundance of life and fulfillment within. Engage your beings to your inner consciousness and return to your label less destinations before your time within the dimension of earth. I say unto you emerge in the inner awakening spirit and travel with the golden cord Koralatal and open your inner eye to your true existence. I tell you familiarize and identify while you travel Astro transcending proggestrotation here your true inner consciousness of self will ignite and awaken the bruentrones that will return you to that spec of consciousness within you, before the earth embraced you. Behold balance your fueelt. Tiye teach for I gave unto you u the true knowledge of earth. The words of I is a seal to the earth, I am label less yet it's unknown to the earth. Ye who rejects the wisdom of there existence rejects the spirit to return to its existence hear my word, for I who is all, will remain all within all that is, I

This experience can be entered into in many ways, each way is refer to as a stage, they are sixteen stages, each stage of travel is knowledge, knowledge breads wisdom, which gives you Wisdom Beyond Beings. In this article we will concentrate on stage one of the Astro Travel (ATP) from ground level, this travel is carried out by everyone on earth some not realizing it. First we have to comprehend that the earth is within another dimension yet within the dimension of earth.

The people on earth are in a combine state of illusion hence why the ground level focus of other dimensions cannot be seen with the natural eye. Visualize this scenario, close your eyes and imagine the creator of man is on the highest step of a ladder all the earth beings wants to reach that force. However before you can climb the first step you must understand the knowledge handed down from the source, the knowledge is in ten parts and the steps are ten, only they who understand the knowledge will climb the steps, the rest will be forever trying their hardest to complete the task.

Keep visualizing the source is now transcending in the distant leaving you gasping to follow behind, you are trying to get the task complete to enable you to transcend, now its late the source is gone, your level is different from he/she who transcended with the source, you are all now at different levels trying your hardest to reach your highest potential. Open your eyes, and understand this is like the different stages in schools colleges or universities.

This brings us back to Astro Travel (ATP) there are different dimensions and each stage has its own challenge. To enable one to reach the summit you must complete the required knowledge to achieve success.

The required knowledge in stage one is to travel in slow mode outside the dimension of earth, yet within the dimension you are already in. This will allow the beginning of your slow awakening from your internal state of illusion through your inner eye.

To bring you into that mode you must understand the basic art of meditation. Understanding the basics of meditation will take you into fueelt. Fueelt is known as the balance between the spirit and the Physical body. It's like synchronizing two points to become one; another example is reaching the biting point in a vehicle using the accelerator and the clutch.

The basic art of combine meditation consist of various aspects, before you embark on your journey. This journey can enable one who meditates to find the journey at the end rejuvenating. The beginning of combine meditation is planning why, when, where and how is the key words to begin. Let's begin.

First we must detox. Why do I need to detox? To remove toxins or impurities from your being to sharpen the mind and be more focus; to repairs the body and gain rejuvenation and gain more energy is just a few.

When do I need to Meditate? Meditation should be a part of your daily routine, you should meditate every day. It the discipline of your mental self, it's the art of relaxation. Meditation can lower blood pressure, and cure various ailments within your being. Where should I meditate? You should meditate in a quiet place; the place should be peaceful and comfortable. How do I meditate? You begin your meditation after applying the basic steps above. The basic steps is done without imagining, make sure you are not tense and no tension is visible, your clothing should be very loose and comfortable, to master the art you have to begin diminishing the inner thoughts to the thoughts of nothingness, doubting is a hindrances to your being.

Realization of oneself is the road to your achievement. It's not necessary to sit with your back erected at this early stage; your eyes can be open or closed, however closed is preferred. Comfort and control of your breathing from inhale to exhale is essential. Now focus on nothing but the sound of your breath and breath. Inhale Exhale.

Without breathing the true essence of existence on earth is breath, Chi life force. Breathing is like a metabolic regulator as it increases oxygen flows to the brain. On another post I will explain the true meaning of Chi and how it can help your life force.

Once you have comprehended all the information above you are now ready to begin your basic step to combine meditation. Drift in the true essence of your being, for the road to true enlightening stands before you. When you have mastered these steps we will take you outside the ground level of Astro Transcending Proggestrotation.

Please note I have quoted 'The Writing' as it was channeled and used words from the writings in the text. Some I have found their meaning, but others we are yet to find their correct translation. Therefore please research to find the meaning of any words that you do not understand.

Best Bodybuilding Supplements - About Creatine

Creatine is not actually a drug, but instead is a natural substance that our bodies produce. Actually, it's a combination of three amino acids: glycine, arginine and methionine. We can also get creatine from our diets, mostly from animal products like meat or fish. Whatever creatine is stored is usually stored in our muscles.

It helps the body do so-called "explosive" high intensity and repetitive exercise. This means that you can get a better workout when you take creatine, and you'll feel better after your workout too, since your muscles can cover much more quickly from fatigue. It helps reduce the accumulation of lactic acid after your workout, which will help you avoid muscle soreness after your workout.

Even though you can get creatine from your diet, taking supplements of creatine will give you larger amounts of it; taken within reason, this can help you exercise longer with less fatigue and soreness, and with faster recovery times so that you'll recuperate for less time between workout sessions. This is especially helpful for bodybuilders or other athletes who wish to build muscle mass quickly or improve performance by working out longer and harder.

How does it do this? A substance called adenosine triphosphate, or ATP for short, simply sits in your muscles waiting for you to need it. When you need it, it is provided quickly and instantaneously, which accounts for the "explosive" benefit it gives muscles, in that you can do very intense workouts almost instantaneously.

Creatine works because once it's ingested, it becomes creatine phosphate. That creatine phosphate replenishes the ATP in the muscles by replacing the phosphate molecule that was used up by the muscles during the intensive phase of your workout. When that intensive physical activity happens, the ATP, adenosine triphosphate, becomes ADP, adenosine diphosphate. Basically, you need one phosphate molecule replenished so that the ADP can become ATP once again. This is what creatine does for you. It replenishes that lost the phosphate molecule so that you have a ready supply of ATP once again. Used correctly, creatine can increase your workout times and give you better muscle mass (assuming you have your nutritional house in order, too).

One caveat to taking creatine is that it makes you retain water in your muscles (thus making them look bulkier); this means that you have to drink a lot more water to compensate for the water you're storing in your muscles instead of other organs. In short, be sure you drink enough when you're taking creatine.

What are creatine's benefits? It can help you work out longer, harder and more frequently than you can without it, which can help you build muscle faster. It can also greatly reduce muscle soreness after workouts, which not only means you can work out sooner, but you'll also feel better.

However, it has some drawbacks, too. You will gain weight because you will be retaining water in your muscles. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but just be prepared for the higher number on the scale. In addition, if you're not careful, you can experience dehydration and related side effects like nausea, vomiting or even seizures. In addition, if you have kidney problems, you shouldn't take creatine; it can place greater stress on your kidneys.

Simply put, no matter the supplements you take, your body's not going to function right and your workouts aren't going to be as effective or as efficient if you don't eat right. You can take all the creatine in the world, for example, but if you sit there and eat junk food instead of concentrating on lean proteins, complex carbohydrates, and plenty of fruits and vegetables, you're not going to be helping your workout. Your muscles have to have something to build themselves on (not to mention that your body needs efficient fuel to help it work its most effectively), and junk food is not the answer. So make your diet healthy by including plenty of lean proteins like lean meats and fish, complex carbohydrates, and fruits and vegetables. Limit or eliminate trans fats, simple sugars and carbohydrates, and junk food in general.

That said, though, with these guidelines in place, creatine can certainly help you improve your workouts and therefore your muscle mass as long as it's used properly.

Great Britain's Great Tennis Problem

In my last piece I referred to the pressure to win a major tournament that faces Andy Murray. He is the lone realistic hope for British success and the prospects of him winning a grand slam are currently slim due to the presence of star players Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

Murray's current ATP ranking of 12 is a full 228 places ahead of the next Brit, Jamie Baker, who is one of only three other players to be ranked under 300. Britain's poor showing in the world rankings is put in to context by the success of other nations. The men's top 50 features eight Spaniards, seven Frenchmen, five Argentinians and four apiece from Russia and United States. Six other nations have at least two players in the top 50.

Britain's Davis Cup ranking of 21 owes much to the efforts of retired top 50 players Tim Henman and Greg Rusedski and there is little chance of the team progressing to the elite, especially as Murray understandably places more importance on individual events.

The situation in the women's game is apparently worse, although there is a greater pool of talent. Britain has a Fed Cup ranking of 42 and has no players in the ATP top 50 (a list dominated by Russians and players from eastern Europe) but hope does exist through the development of Anne Keothavong (ranking 96th), Katie O'Brien (112th), Elena Baltacha (144th) and Melanie South (153rd).

There are 25 different countries represented in the women's top 50, suggesting Britain must wait for new talent before providing another top player. Unfortunately there does not appear to be another Murray (US Open junior champion in 2004) on the horizon.

Britain's Lawn Tennis Association is taking steps to reverse this decline, putting £10m into a scheme to cultivate young talent, although the products of that policy will clearly not appear for some time.

Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan - Cool Water (2010) [unofficial fan video]

Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan Album: Hawk Label: Vanguard 2010 www.vanguardrecords.com Former Belle and Sebastian member Isobel Campbell and former Screaming Trees frontman/Queens of the Stone Age collaborator/Gutter Twins member Mark Lanegan might've seemed like an odd couple at first. But by now, they've released two collaborative albums of elegantly debauched Nancy Sinatra/Lee Hazlewood-esque torch songs, 2006′s Mercury Prize-nominated Ballad of the Broken Seas and 2008′s Sunday at Devil Dirt, and they sound perfectly natural next to each other. Campbell and Lanegan now have a third team-up album on the way, titled Hawk. Vanguard will release it on August 24 in the US, and in the UK, it's due August 16 from V2/Cooperative. Lanegan sings on eight of the album's 13 songs, and singer-songwriter Willy Mason also guests on two. Former Smashing Pumpkin James Iha plays guitar on "You Won't Let Me Down Again". The album features covers of two Townes Van Zandt songs, "No Place to Fall" and "Snake Song". The Tennis Masters' Plans for the 2008 Clay Season

As we enter the European clay-court portion of the ATP Masters season many big names in the sport have already began their training to get set for the coming challenges the red courts will bring. Amongst them there is Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic; who is strongly pursuing the number one spot. Djokovic whose last appearances were at Indian Wells where he obtained the title and at the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami where he was ousted in the first round; has officially announced he will participate in the three majors clay events in Monaco, Hamburg and Rome.

During the 2007 season and so far into the 2008 ATP season the Serb has become the strongest opponent to take on both masters; Nadal and Federer and claim either ranking positions. Nevertheless, Djokovic admits he learns something new every day and he can only hope to keep developing his skills as he has done for the past years.

Great Britain's number one player Andy Murray who had a relatively good come back after his absence due to a wrist injury; has recently slipped out from the top 20; fact which has become a major concern for the Scott. Murray has contacted Spaniard clay court expert French Open runner-up Alex Corretja to become part of his team of experts. Corretja whose background speak for himself achieved 17 titles before retiring in 2004. The Spaniard stated he has seem Murray's potential to play in different surfaces and will gladly be part of his group. Murray's campaign will kick off in Valencia, Spain next April 14th.

Then there is the Swiss superstar Roger Federer who arrives title less to the end of the first quarter of the year. Federer's 2008 ATP season began with many bumps on the road as he had to withdraw from his usual practice event in Australia due to an illness. He then moved in to the first Grand Slam of the year in Australia; but at this point we all saw something was just not right. Nevertheless, Federer played all matches and arrived to the finals where he lost to Novak Djokovic. His second stop at the Dubai Open was overshadowed by a quick first round exit and finally his other two appearances at the Masters Series events in California and Miami where he made to the semi finals and quarterfinals respectively.

Federer admitted he has been looking for answers to his drought but his trainers and doctors insist he is still recovering from his illness and he is not yet at a 100 percent. The Swiss master's career has been almost superhuman as he claimed in only four years most of his 12 Grand Slam titles.

Nevertheless; Federer will participate for the first time at the 2008 Estoril Open in Portugal in order to gain more practice and better his game on this type of surface. Furthermore; he will continue his tune up in Monte Carlo, Rome and Hamburg on his way to Paris to participate at the not yet conquered French Open; where he has reached the final the last two years losing to Rafael Nadal.

World number two Rafa Nadal who is also without a title has managed to shorten the point distance to just 670 points. But he will soon be facing as well the pressure of the red surface that has given him his three Grand Slams titles. Besides holding his titles in Barcelona, Rome and Paris the raging bull will still need to win in Hamburg to surpass the Swiss Fed and this is not an easy task.

Stop War, Start Tennis

This article looks at the achievements of Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi as they reached the final of the men's doubles event of U.S. Open 2010. They have brought in a revolution in promoting peace between India and Pakistan. Known as "Indo-Pak Express".

With this message in the thick of things, Rohan-Aisam have been hitting brilliant backhands, powerful forehands and body line serves as they make a statement, one to reckon with.

This is a start of an epic saga for two men; one at the baseline, the other at the net; waiting to pounce on any loose returns with sheer ruthlessness, the breath of determination fill their nostrils as the sweat of perseverance burn the passion for the sport in their hearts, and well, they wear their hearts out on the rackets, serving aces and smashing returns.

Two men, who form a great partnership and equally unusual, both on and off court. Hailing from Bengaluru, Southern India, Rohan Bopanna, a not so famous name in the international tennis circuit, even if a little in his home country, teamed up with Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi in 2007 to form tennis world's Indo-Pak Express. Little was known of them at that point of time. They consumed a healthy chunk of time to realize their potential as a unit as they started off as on and off partners. But right from the time they started playing together, Rohan and Aisam always hogged the limelight, sometimes for their great game co-ordination and mostly for the nations they represented.

Rohan and Qureshi, together, have won around 10 challenger trophies, but are yet to win a Grand Slam. Well, they came very close to achieving that feat in the just concluded U.S. Open as they faltered at the final hurdle by losing out to the Bryan Brothers in the championship match. The Bryan bros are the best in the doubles circuit, and they have been there for quite some time now, with 9 majors under their belt. But they were pushed to the brink by the 46th seeds in their effort to add the 9th. The final scoreline read as Bob Bryan/ Mike Bryan beat Rohan Bopanna / Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi in straight sets; 7-6(5) 7-6(4). "The Indo-Pak Express was running pretty well until we met these guys", said Qureshi.

The focal point of the emerging combo's game is their big serve and powerful ground strokes, which proved quite tough for the No.1 seeds too. Both Rohan and Qureshi have healthy experience in the singles version of the game, and for a long time now. Both of them have been around in the ATP scenario for around a decade, more or less. This is the prime reason why the Indo-Pak duo prefer to play from the backcourt placed at the baseline, but do not miss out on opportunities at the net.

Interestingly, Bopanna and Qureshi are using the I-formation, which is quite new to the doubles game. Here, they stand in a perpendicular way to the net, both the server and the one at the net. The advantage of this formation is that the opponent cannot decide on which way the guy at the net will go after the serve. Consequently, the server moves to the other side, as per their pre-decided plans. This is very effective in closing out on opponents' returns, which are usually volleys straight down the middle.

The Indo-Pak Express is as active outside court as they are inside it. They have used the example of their partnership to start a new, fresh and rejuvenated effort to bring the two brother nations to a common peace and status of harmony with their campaign of "Stop War, Start Tennis" in the global forum reaching out to the millions of Indians and Pakistanis living outside their motherlands too, apart from the ones living in their own country.

Rohan has expressed that it is a great feeling when he sees Pakistani supporters rooting for him when he plays along with their son, Qureshi. During their entire U.S. Open campaign, the Indian and Pakistani ambassadors to the United Nations rooted for them and supported them all the way as they went down in a blaze of glory.

Everyone aware of their feat will be acknowledged of their noble deed towards brotherhood and mankind. And the liking the duo has developed in people's minds was evident from the noise level in the Arthur Ashe arena last Friday and the support base for them.

Even winner Bob Bryan said, "What they are doing is a lot more important than winning the U.S. Open". The Bryan bros also decided to donate a part of the cash award to the Pakistan flood relief fund.

Their achievements on court, no matter how big or small, shall always remain inferior to the impact this partnership can and is having on the relations between the two neighboring countries, and the dialogue process. Alas, they haven't been able to yet showcase that it is action, and not dialogue alone, that can lead to a more peaceful and better tomorrow.

All of us in both the countries are extremely proud of the performance of the inspirational duo and all praise for them. But, will things remain the same when they start losing a few matches, not win a few trophies when they might be expected to? May be not. Here, success is short-lived.

The journey has just started for the duo in real sense, now. It is now that they shall feel the burden of sub-continental expectations, the wrath of fans who worship you during your good days and pelt stones at times when you experience a rough ride, a bump in the way.

Looking at the two of them, we can call ourselves brothers in arms, separated by the LOC. If you look back at our history, we are sons of the same mother, brought up by different and contradicting fathers. A step back may lead to a whole leap forward, but the courage lacks, from within. It is a billion dollar question: Can we replace racquets with torches igniting brotherhood?

Donkey is Going to Win the Tennis Australian Open 2008 Title!

No! No! Just kidding. Of course a donkey could not ever win the Australian Open in tennis, or the Kentucky Derby! I am just trying to get your attention ! (smile).

This is about the eternal question "Are Champions born or made"? And the answer is "Champions are born not made"! A champion will be a champion because of his/her genetical make up and not because someone made them.

Sure, some of you are saying, ney, ney, you do not know what you are talking about! Ok, I respect your opinion but, please give me a chance and continue reading.

To make it easier to understand. Just consider the brain and ask yourself can everyone that has been born man or woman be a Nuclear Scientist or Einstein? Most of you will agree that the answer is, no. The same applies to tennis and everything else. Another example is this rehtorical question, did anyone ever see a donkey winning the Kentucky Derby?

This leads to your question, what about you bragging that you Coached Jim Courier and gave on court instruction to players like: Pete Sampras, Cedric Pioline, Tim Mayotte, David Wheaton, Brad Gilbert, Mark Knowles, Doug Flach, Bonnie Gaduzek, David Nankin, Julie Halard, Mary Pierce and many others? Yes, you are right it is just an ego trip! In all humbleness we coaches need the knowledge and the implementation know how, but without Champions with a special set of genetic qualities, Coaches are just nothing!

Are you trying to say that all those entourages of experts, psycologists, masseurs, coaches, guru coaches, strengh and speed coaches, papa coaches, mama coaches, physiotherapists, could all stay at home and the players would still, play the same? Yep! Go ask Roger Federer, or Ken Rosewall or Rod Laver and a horde of other great players! Why do you think Paul Anacone read the newspaper while Pete Sampras was playing? (This is no joke look at TV match tapes). Do you think Pete cared? Of course not, the job was done outside the court, during the match it was up to Pete to perform and win.

Do you also mean that all those "Big Name Tennis Academies" in Florida and around the world can not make Champions? You got it, they cannot! They have a good function and that is to get very rich kids who can afford a tennis and school tuition in the tens of thousands of dollars a year, a chance to prepare for a college team and if they are good enough, to get a college coach to recruit some of them.

The true champions that go to those academies and later on become professional players, are already champions when they get there. If those academies could really make champions, there would be hundreds of thousands of tennis champions, if you consider that some of those academies are visited by over 400 youngsters per week throughout the summer months and hundreds if not thousands sprinkled in the year, not to mention that in a low estimate there are about 60 million tennis players world wide and from such a great pool of tennis players there are just about 30 something real top class men and women in the ATP/WTA professional circuits while the rest are just mere participants.

Here are the Men and Women 2007 Tournament winners. (Mind you that the amount of winners would be reduced to a handful on either tour if the top five ranked players played low tier tournaments):

ATP Men

- Djokovic, Novak 5 - Ljubicic, Ivan 2 - Malisse, Xavier 2 - Ferrer, David 3 - Blake, James 2 - Federer, Roger 7 + Masters - Luis Horna 1 - Baghdatis, Marcos 1 - Andy Murray 2 - Simon, Gilles 2 - Canas, Guillermo 1 - Haas, Tommy 1 - Youzhny, Mikhail 1 - Monaco, Juan 3 - Chela, Juan Ignacio 1 - Hewitt, Lleyton 1 - Nadal, Rafael 5 - Almagro, Nicolas 1 - Karlovic, Ivo 2 - Mathieu, Paul-Henri 2 - Kohlschreiber, Philipp 1 - Roddick, Andy 2 - Berdych, Tomas 1 - Santoro, Fabrice 2 - Darcis, Steve 1 - Stepanek, Radek 1 - Tursunov, Dmitry 2 - Moya, Carlos 1 - Robredo, Tommy 2 - Gonzalez, Fernando 1 - Gasquet, Richard 1 - Davydenko, Nikolay 1 - Nalbandian, David 2 - Grosjean, Sebastien 1

WTA Women

Dinara Safina 1 - Jelena Jankovic 4 - Kim Clijsters 1 - Anna Chakvetadze 4 - Serena Williams 2 - Martina Hingis 1 - Nadia Petrova 1 - Sybille Bammer 1 - Amelie Mauresmo 1 - Yaroslava Shvedova 1 - Justine Henin 10 - Venus Williams 3 - Roberta Vinci 1 - Emilie Loit 1 - Daniela Hantuchova 1 - Tatiana Golovin 2 - Gisela Dulko 2 - Greta Arn 1 - Ana Ivanovic 3 - Akiko Morigami 1 - Milagros Sequera 1 - Anabel Medina Garrigues 1 - Elena Dementieva 2 - Meghann Shaughnessy 1 - Agnes Szavay 2 - Francesca Schiavone 1 - Maria Sharapova 1 - Agnieszka Radwanska 1 - Svetlana Kuznetsova 1 - Lindsay Davenport 2 - Maria Kirilenko 1 - Virginie Razzano 2 - Pauline Parmentier 1 - Flavia Pennetta 1 - Daniela Hantuchova 1 -

Why are then Champions indeed born? I will answer this question in depth in my next article.

In the meantime remember speed and strength are very important in tennis and how fast you are is genetically predetermined at birth by the fast twitching muscle fibbers your forefathers gave you and the balanced strength of your overall body. So to reap the benefits of "your" maximum natural inborn speed you need to develop the following good habits:

- Go to a track and field and watch carefully all the routines of track and field 100 meter runners, they do all the right things. Copy their exercises even the stretches and cool down exercises.

- If you are lucky enough to be attending a college or in an area were sprinters abound and you are good enough, ask the Coach if you could participate in their speed training program. Its an enlightening experience, I can vouch for that!

- Then develop excellent starting technique (similar to the 50 meter dash sprinters)

- Explosivity (Age appropriate exercises include use of weights, elastics, force-resistence etc..)

- Learn to release the tennis racket from supporting hand and pump like any sprinter in large distances (up to 10 meters a cross the court - to drop shots, angle shots)

- Parallel acceleration by leading your baseline starts always with big powerful FIRST step towards the incoming wide ball, right foot forehand, left foot backhand - lefties, right foot backhand, left foot forehand, while strongly pushing off with the opposite foot on the same direction (the ball).

- Use these techniques on the practice court first, then on point play and finally on match play.

You must feel comfortable with what is your maximum 100 meter speed, be it 11'', 10,30'', 10 seconds, (or the 50, 20, 10 meter or start reaction time) whatever it is, once you achieved it in power and technique it will be "your" maximum speed for the rest of your life with very little fluctuations from day to day. The important thing is that you fought and worked hard to achieve that goal and you should be immensely proud of yourself and your tennis will greatly benefit from it. Never compare yourself to others or feel bad about not being as good as so and so, measure yourself against yourself and the clock and you will always be happy with your achievements.

Finally, keep in mind that maintaining a high level of excellence requires rigorous discipline and unabated work ethic for a life time.

All the best improving your tennis.

Guide on the Toughest USB Memory Sticks Available

USB thumb drives-from relatively humble beginnings-have become an essential PC component for both student and road warrior alike.

Ubiquitous and ever cheaper, its success lies in its small size, ever-increasing capacity, and flexibility; they are perfect for quick backups but can boot smaller operating systems as well. Best of all, USB drives are solid state, with no moving parts to break when thrown in a backpack - or a back-pocket. With prices diminishing as capacity grows, a specialized sub-market continues to grow for discerning consumers who desire capacity, throughput and rugged build quality.

This niche market is well served by the following rugged USB drives released over the last few months.

First up is the Verbatim TUFF-CLIP. Featuring 8GB of storage, the TUFF-CLIP, as its name implies, boasts a clasp on one end - perfect for belt or laptop bag loops. Considering that the size of USB thumb drives can sometimes be a mixed blessing-easy to carry, but likewise also easy to misplace-its closable clasp is a minor but nonetheless needed innovation. This plastic also sheathes the rest of the drive without sacrificing portability. The drive itself is optimized for ready-boost speed for Vista and Windows 7 users and features the now standard security software onboard. The Verbatim TUFF-CLIP comes in at a competitive price point compared to its more vanilla competitors. The clasp is well integrated with the rest of its casing.

Priced similarly, but featuring a tougher exterior is a new player in the market: the ATP ToughDrive. ATP advertises SIP technology in a drive that is shockproof, waterproof and dust-proof. Such claims might well cover all but the cheapest USB thumb drives; when picking up at a recent computer trade show, I immediately understood the market ATP is looking to snare. Like the TUFF-CLIP, the ToughDrive features a tough shell encasement, but with a dense rubber as opposed to the more common plastic. Unlike some its competitors, it seemed welded onto the drive. While its design does not include a clip, the ATP felt light in the palm while undeniably tough. Ridges on both sides of the drive, including a removable tip, were a nice touch; they added heft while not detracting from overall portability. The ToughDrive ships in 4GB and 8GB and the drive itself includes the ready-boost and security options now standard for higher-end thumb drives. The drive itself, as will all of these featured here, is sturdy and well embedded in its casing.

One would think that the military is one step ahead of the rest of us in thumb drive innovation. They probably are. But other professions with truly mission critical needs have developed a market with a new twist on tough. Meet the TAC drive. Eschewing industrial-grade plastic or rubber, the TAC drive is encased in light-weight metal that nonetheless meets-and exceeds-military field regulations. Weighing less than an ounce, rural and suburban fires led physician Dr. Anthony DuBose to conceive of a tough, but lightweight thumb drive that could withstand extreme conditions while saving important medical information of the firefighters engaged in fighting the flames. The result is a thumb drive capable of withstanding freezing in dry ice, submersion in a hundred feet of water, when not heated to degrees exceeding 250 degrees Fahrenheit.

The price is competitive with the other drives listed here, but the capacity is indeed smaller at 1GB. Still, this is an attractively priced, and truly archival quality drive, ready to bear the brunt of extreme elements. A drive tested in a forest fire seems well worth trusting irreplaceable information with; overlook its unsexy, Swiss knife design and it becomes a portable, and fireproof safe - ready on the go.

Rugged, tough USB drives should not resemble a Hummer in miniature; consider instead the materials and intelligent design that go into a high-end, tough USB drive. Form factor, design and on board software are all features to consider when shopping for a tough USB drive designed to withstand the tests of time, circumstance and environment.

Resveratrol Pills As an Anti Aging Supplement

What can a Resveratrol pill really do for you? The supplement is being promoted as an anti-cancer, anti-inflammatory, blood-sugar lowering, life extending miracle. But, what they fail to tell you is that the latest research proves that the nutrient has a very low bio-availability.

Stomach acid converts the active form of the nutrient to an inactive form that does not have the same activity. Basically, it causes twisting of the molecule. If it remains unchanged as it passes through the stomach, the untwisted molecule is small enough to pass through the intestinal wall and enter the bloodstream directly. This occurs with some proteins and other nutrients, as well.

In order to protect delicate nutrients from stomach acid, some manufacturers use an enteric coating. But, the coatings are more expensive and the cheap supplements don't include them. So, the first thing that a Resveratrol pill must include is an enteric coating.

The second thing is that the formulation should be standardized to have high trans-Resveratrol content, 50% is best. It is the trans-Resveratrol type that has been used in laboratory studies. It is basically the "untwisted" form of the molecule.

The third thing to look for is a combination of other ingredients that enhance and work with the trans-Resveratrol to provide the greatest results. On its own a Resveratrol pill can only do so much. The activity that it has is not well understood, but assuming that the research theories are correct, it is not active against all types of free radicals. Basic antioxidants must be included or the other free radicals will damage the cells, even if trans-Resveratrol is present.

Some of the latest claims have been about weight loss, in particular fat loss, that supplementation can cause. These claims are based on studies conducted using animal models. There are no clinical trials to show the effectiveness or safety of this type of supplement for weight loss.

If you need to lose weight, a multi-nutritional supplement that contains chromium, green tea extract, gingko biloba, SAM-e and ATP can help, because they are compounds that have proven fat-burning activity. Other nutrients are important, as well. Just because you are overweight does not mean that you are well nourished. In fact, in all likelihood, you are suffering from mal-absorption, an inability to absorb nutrients from the foods that you eat. Supplementation can be highly beneficial.

Basically, a single-ingredient Resveratrol pill will do very little to improve your overall health. As an ingredient in a totally balanced formula, it's great. Alone, it's not going to do much.

It was believed to be the solution to the puzzle of the French paradox, a lower than expected incidence of heart disease in the South of France, despite a diet that is high in fat. Researchers have since proven that it could not possibly be the explanation for that puzzle. The amount that is present in red wine is too low.

The amount that is present in a Resveratrol pill may be too high or too low. 20-50mg per day is sufficient, higher than that could cause unwanted side effects. Look for a formula that includes that amount and lots of other different ingredients, if you want the best results.

The Importance Of Creatine In Building Lean Muscle

Creatine monohydrate can rightly lay claim to being the most popular and arguably most effective bodybuilding supplement currently available. The beauty of creatine is that it is 100% natural and occurs in many foods so it's unlikely to be banned from any sports or competitions.
Let's first establish what creatine actually is. In brief, creatine is produced naturally in our bodies to help supply energy to the muscles. It is produced in the liver, pancreas and kidneys before being transported in the blood to our muscles. It is then converted into phosphocreatine which is a powerful metabolite used to regenerate the muscles' ATP source of energy.
From a bodybuilder's perspective, creatine can significantly increase lean muscle mass quickly, improve performance in high intensity exercise, raise energy levels and speed up recovery rates. Creatine's ability to raise energy in muscles is due to its muscle protein synthesizing action whilst reducing the breakdown of protein. This happens because creatine has the effect of super-hydrating muscle cells with water. It also improves muscle growth adding size and strength to muscle fibers.
Creatine is normally taken in two ways. The first involves loading the muscles with 20 to 30 grams of creatine per day for four to seven days. At the end of this phase maintenance involves a regular intake of 5 to 15 grams per day. The other method is more gradual in that it skips out the loading phase and simply involves supplementing with 5 to 15 grams per day for an extended period.
Two questions remain to be answered - does it work and is it safe? Creatine has undoubtedly been proven effective in recent years - over twenty scientific studies have concluded that creatine can increase energy levels and result in enhanced strength, endurance levels and recovery rates. As a training aid it therefore has many merits. In terms of safety, no study to date has shown creatine to be anything other than safe, provided manufacturers' instructions are followed.
There is a bewildering range of creatine supplements on the market so subsequent articles in this series will examine the relative merits of the most popular and effective forms. In the meantime, you can find out more by visiting the site listed below.

Ubiquinol a Breakthrough For People With Heart Disease, Liver Damage, And Cancer Concerns

The most commonly recognized supplemental for of CoQ10 has been known as "ubiquinone" or "coenzyme Q10"  Now, Japan's largest producer of CoQ10, has found a way to stabilize a pure and BIO-IDENTICAL form of the nutrient.  It is called ubiquinol, and it's the downline metabolite of CoQ10.  In other words, it's the biologically ACTIVE version of CoQ10 so it's stronger, and it slips right into your cells.  There is no need to worry about whether or not your body (and your gut) can convert the CoQ10 to it's active form (ubiquinol). This is REALLY IMPORTANT:

As you age, not only do you produce less CoQ10, but your body becomes less efficient at converting CoQ10 to the active form - Ubiquinol

Certain people have a real hard time converting the CoQ10 to ubiquinol, especially people with diabetes, GI problems, autoimmune disorders, and those with heart disease.  So ubiquinol would be ideal for people who fit in this group.  But because you get higher plasma concentrations with ubiquinol, I recommend it for everyone.  It's definitely new and improved and worth it becuase ubiquinol is a powerful antioxidant that nourishes your muscle cells.  It can help you with leg cramps, especially those related to the drug mugging effect of your medications (see below).  It can improve the look of your skin, it can improve liver function and detoxification.  It can increase ATP in the cells, so it's an energizing molecule...it's great for fatigue and low thyroid!!!

There are hundreds of medications which could be slowly stealing the life out of you. I believe that when a drug steals a nutrient, you will develop a new symptom.  You may not realize that your new symptom is related to a drug-nutrient depletion. Please consider all the reasons why you might not be feeling as good as you used to, it's not always black and white, and based on some lab result.  If you are weak and tired, it may be your blood pressure medicine, or your statin, or your hormones, you'll see these drugs on the list below.

There Are Absurdly Inexpensive Way to Feel Better

The subject of vitamins, minerals and nutrients is explored in-depth in Drug Muggers, which explains to you how to feel better when you develop a symptom (so you don't have to start yet another new drug!!!)  Wouldn't that be wonderful?  If you knew what medicines were depleting a nutrient, you could quickly fix that deficiency and hopefully erase the symptoms that plague you (without having to resort to more and more pills).  The following list of medications are those that can interfere with your heart-healthy nutrient, CoQ10 and therefore ubiquinol.  Read the list and see if you're medicine is on it.  I've tried to include as many international brand names as possible, but it helps if you know the "generic" name of your medicine.
With many wishes for great health, here is the BIG LIST of:

Drug Muggers of CoQ10 and therefore, UBIQUINOL

This completes the list of drug muggers, updated January 15, 2009

If you think you are being mugged by one of these drugs, the best thing to do is to supplement with UBIQUINOL. A good place to start is with 100 - 200 mg per day. I have written much more on this subject. Just search the web to find more information if necessary. I hope this helps you.

How to Gain Weight With Creatine - How Creatine Works to Build Your Muscle Mass in Record Time

Creatine is one of the most talked about body building supplements out there. Lots of bodybuilders use creatine to gain weight and for building muscle because it works! That's why a lot of people call it weight gain creatine. Because it can help you add lean body mass in a short period of time.

A lot of research has been undertaken on creatine with scientists trying to figure out how it all works. This is one weight lifting supplement that lives up to all the hype surrounding it. Everyone has creatine in their body, as it's a naturally occurring substance. So when you want to build lean muscle mass, supplementing your diet with weight gain creatine helps your body to build muscle even faster.

Creatine is good at building muscle as that is where it's stored in your body - in your muscles. It's a by-product of an amino acid that occurs naturally in your body. You can also find creatine in some fish and red meat.

When you're working out or going for a run, your body needs energy fast. Adenosine Tri-Phosphate (ATP) is what your body needs. In these circumstances ATP gives your muscles the energy they need by breaking down into Adenosine Di-Phosphate (ADP). Once you've used up your store of ATP, your muscles get tired and you feel that you just can't keep going any longer. One way to overcome this is to give yourself an extra boost of ATP so your muscles can keep going for longer. This is where weight gain creatine comes in.

You store creatine in your body as creatine phosphate. ADP combines with your creatine phosphate to make ATP and BOOM! You're suddenly re-energized! This whole process happens a lot faster than if you just drank a body building shake to try and give your body more energy. As you can see, using weight gain creatine supplements can really help in your workouts and will help you to build muscle quicker and faster.

The good thing to know about weight gain creatine is, it's not a steroid. So don't feel guilty if you think the creatine you use for building muscle is giving you an edge over the other guys in the gym. Yes, it is giving you an edge, but it's totally legal! You also have to remember that just because you're drinking weight lifting creatine, it's not going to put any muscle on you. So don't drink it 20 times a day thinking that's all you have to do in order to bulk up. You have to build your muscles yourself by working out regularly.

The weight gain creatine will help your muscles recover a lot faster and help you work out longer, but it's actually pumping iron that's going to make your muscles big and strong.

Some people think they can take creatine for any kind of sport, but that doesn't seem to be true. According to research, participants in endurance sports don't seem to get any benefit at all from creatine supplements, as the energy needed for these kinds of activities are different from the energy you need for body building.

So if you want to get maximum results from your weight training program, using weight gain creatine supplements for building muscle can definitely give you an edge. You'll be able to train longer and harder and build those muscles a lot quicker. Just make sure you follow a good weight training diet as well as working out correctly and you should be seeing results in no time!

Robin Soderling Interview, March 14, 2010 at Indian Wells (In English)

Robin Soderling Interview, March 14, 2010 at Indian Wells (In English). This is a Live Chat Tennistv interview taken prior to the Indian Wells Masters where Robin made it to the Semi-Finals before losing in 3 tough sets to Andy Roddick. Robin defeated Jo-Willy Tsonga and Andy Murray along the way. This interview is relaxed and informal and addresses the person behind the player for English speaking fans. The questions and answers range from Robin's superstitions to hie favorite foods and handling of fame and travel since he made the Final in Roland Garros, 2009. Although these kinds of interviews are common in Sweden where Robin's character is well regarded, they are all too infrequent in the Western press, so this is quite appreciated.
